PTE describe image question type comes third in the exam for the speaking section. Read contents of the image carefully, all students feel easy at first. But, when it comes to the exam day it brings down your confidence when unfamiliar words are put to pronounce.

Tips to Improve PTE Speaking Describe Image

1. Preparation time is 25 seconds.
2. Do not start before the start time.
3. Remember take care of the mic position.
4. Microphone must be placed parallel to the chin for best result.
5. This position will ensure that your breathing sound is not captured while speaking.
6. Avoid touching the microphone, because touching the microphone are creating unnecessary sound, which can lower your PTE speaking score.
7. You have to explain the image in your own words.
8. Best time to explain the image within 19-35 seconds.
9. Pronounce easy words and skip complicated words.
10. If the image contains little contents, then you can repeat it by changing the sequence.
11.  Do not take pauses it will decrease you PTE score.
12. Time is shared.
13. If the image is difficult to explain, then you need to get 15-20 words by using the template like I can see speak word then repeat it 15-20 times and it last add this sentence to conclude the image is very informative.
14. Do not speak complicated words.
15. Important question in speaking section.
16. Be confident and do not hesitate.
17. Overall question 3-4 and each carry equal points.
18. Total points are 22.2.
19. Speaking points are 22.2.
20. Focus on fluency and pronunciation.
